Truth, Resilience, and Reconciliation with Jenn Smith of Tlowitsis First Nation

A self-paced, three part learning series.

As a cultural safety and humility educator, Jenn has an innate ability to convey important teachings related to the impacts of colonization, while delicately weaving in personal stories and the lived experiences of her own family. Her method of teaching through storytelling provides a lens and an insight rarely witnessed, and inspires learners to more fully understand the impacts of colonization on a personal, familial level.

Module One: Truth

A 45 minute session providing background on the history of colonization in British Columbia

Module Two: Resilience

A 26 minute session wherein Jenn will share the story of her Auntie Maggie, and provide insight to her own families impacts from colonization and residential schools.

Module Three:

A 13 minute session that will provide guidance on how we can each move forward on our individual reconciliation journeys.

Lifetime access granted.
